About us

Sasane Education Society established an English Medium School on June 17, 1985, to provide quality education to students in and around Hadapsar. For years, families from Hadapsar, Manjari, and Vadki struggled to find nearby English medium schools, forcing their children to travel long distances to Pune. This daily commute posed significant challenges due to overcrowding and transportation difficulties.

• Sasane Education Society established New English School in Hadapsar in 1985. The school initially operated in an old, dilapidated Wada with just two teachers and 80 students across classes 1st to 4th.


• In 1991, a three-story building with 18 classrooms was constructed, accommodating approximately 1,200 students and 40 teaching and non-teaching staff members. By 2010, the student strength had grown to 1,500, supported by 70 staff members, and the school shifted to its current four-story building.


• A second four-story building with 12 classrooms was later constructed on the same premises. From this academic year, the Pre-primary and Primary Sections have been conducting their classes in this new facility.


• The school is well-equipped with modern amenities, including Science Laboratories, a Computer Laboratory, a Bifocal Computer Science Lab, a Library, a spacious playground, and transport facilities.


• Adding another milestone to its journey, the institution expanded by introducing an Arts, Commerce, and Science Junior College (English Medium) in the academic year 2013-14. This growth has been made possible through the able guidance of the Management, the unwavering support of parents, and the dedication of the staff and students.


• To keep pace with the ever-evolving technological world, the school introduced a vocational course—Bifocal Computer Science—for students of Standard XI in the academic year 2014-15.
